On our first day back in September, the new Year 6 class will be embarking on a trip of a lifetime to Ypres in Belgium. They will be setting off at 5am (what a determined start to the new year). During their stay, they will be posting a daily blog about their experiences on this page.
In the meantime, if you would like to get a better understanding of the things they will be learning about, please have a look at the things that are happening on www.prestonremembers.org.uk.
Three Peaks Challenge|
We are pleased to report, that despite some hazardous and quite dangerous conditions, Mr Neil Britton, his son Luke and their friend Jeremy Kaye completed their Three Peaks Challenge on Monay 9th June in order to raise funds for next years trip to Belgium. We are extremely grateful for the amazing effort they have put in and for their support of the school and the children's learning experiences.
Football @ Lea!|
We are so grateful to Peerless Fencing who have sponsored our school sports kit.
The football team wore the kit for the first time in a match against Lancaster Lane Primary School and it had a positive effect as we won 4-0! Congratulations to everyone in the team and their manager Mr Stoney!
Thank you Peerless Fencing we love our new kit!
